In July 2024, the UKDC Management Study Program once again organized a guest lecture and capital market training for Management students. This agenda is conducted annually, as it is directly related to the Investment Management course taught by Prof. Dr. Maria Widyastuti, M.M. The activity aims to develop students’ understanding of the world of stock investment and to motivate them to engage in stock trading using appropriate strategies and accurate calculations.
The guest speaker for this session was Mr. Pang Tek Djen from PT Sucor Sekuritas Indonesia. He delivered a presentation on stocks and the importance of investing in equities, and provided educational outreach to participants regarding the concept of investment and various capital market instruments, including securities in the equity market such as tradable stocks.
Subsequently, the students were divided into several teams, each consisting of two members. These teams then participated in quizzes or competitions related to the capital market. The following section presents the documentation of the winners.
