On Friday, 18 October 2024, the Management Study Program of Universitas Katolik Darma Cendika Surabaya held a guest lecture entitled “Understanding the Importance and Benefits of Insurance,” in collaboration with PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia.
The speaker at the event was Mr. Hari Pendi, S.Si., AAAIK., QIP. In his presentation, Mr. Pendi explained the importance of obtaining insurance at an early age to enhance health protection, emphasizing that maintaining good health is a crucial factor in achieving financial independence. He also highlighted the role of insurance in anticipating and managing unexpected financial risks.
This educational initiative also contributes to raising awareness of the importance of long-term financial planning, enabling individuals to better prepare themselves for potential losses or risks that may disrupt their financial stability.
The event was conducted over a two-hour period and proceeded in an orderly and smooth manner.
